About Remote Practitioner

We're building the future of collaborative critical care—where hospitals get expert coverage and clinicians get flexible, meaningful work.

Our Mission

Remote Practitioner was founded to solve a critical problem facing hospitals across America: the shortage of intensivist coverage, especially during nights, weekends, and surge periods.

Rural and community hospitals often struggle to recruit ICU specialists, leading to patient transfers, delayed care, and burnout among existing staff. We believe that geography shouldn't determine the quality of critical care a patient receives.

By leveraging secure telemedicine technology and collaborative workflows, Remote Practitioner connects board-certified intensivists with hospitals that need them—enabling faster interventions, better outcomes, and sustainable staffing models.
